To include pictures in your email (not attached), what format do the picture need to be in?

I want to include pictures in an email newsletter, not just attach them to an email for people to open. How do I do that? Do I need to convert the .jpg file to something else? If so, what do I convert it to? And, how do you convert the files? (Is there a website that will do it for free or a program you can download for free?)

The only way to post a picture in the body of a yahoo email your photos need to be web based or on a site like flickr or photobucket then right click on the picture and copy then right click and paste in your email.
This will not work with firefox.
Photos that are based on your computer will not copy and paste in most email providers mail.
