URGENT CALL ON MEMBERS OF THE KL BAR TO BE AT THE PALACE OF JUSTICE ON WEDNESDAY, 26.09.2007 AT 10.30 A.M.
WALK FOR JUSTICE!
We need to act on the call from the Bar Council of Malaysia to join them in the march this Wednesday, 26.09.2007 from the Palace of Justice to the Prime Minister’s Office to present a memorandum to the Prime Minister calling for the establishment of a Royal Commission of Inquiry immediately to investigate allegations in the video clip which hints of judicial impropriety.
Let us show up in large numbers to join in this Walk for Justice march!
On behalf of the KLBC, I urge all members of the KL Bar to be present at the entrance to the Palace of Justice, Putrajaya on Wednesday, 26.09.2007 at 10.30 a.m. This is the time to stand up and be counted!
Bar Council has arranged for 5 to 6 buses to ferry members to the Palace of Justice on Wednesday morning. Members who require transport are requested to be at Dataran Merdeka at 9.00 a.m. sharp. The attire is black and white with jacket.

ISNT IT TIME FOR OUR LAWYERS TO DO SOMETHING TO THE TAINTED JUDICIARY IF EVEN IF IT WAS ONLY A MERE HOPE? IT SEEMS THAT LAWYERS ARE GOOD WHEN IT COMES TO PREACHING ABOUT DEMOCRACY AND RIGHTS BUT TAKING ACTION IS WHAT THAT WOULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE. I WOULD EVEN SECOND THE PROPOSAL TO SEND THE MEMORANDUM TO YANG DIPERTUAN AGONG.
if pakistani lawyers can rally to uphold the integrity of their judiciary, why should malaysian lawyers hesitate to do the same? are our guts any smaller than them?
