What can I do to prevent Yahoo! from wrongly identifying a newsletter as spam?
Hi,
I work as web manager for British Council Romania (http://www.britishcouncil.ro ).
We issue our weekly electronic newsletter (http://www.britishcouncil.ro/inbrief ) to more than 15,000 email addresses, many of which are Yahoo! Mail accounts. These email addresses have been collected on an opt-in basis during the last 3 years. All the subscribers have explicitly expressed their wish to receive the newsletter, and have also customized it according to their preferences (language, text/html and content). They also have the possibility of modifying their subscription or unsubscribing altogether from the newsletter at any time, through the two links at the end of every message.
Lately, we have received a number of complaints from a few of our recipients, about Yahoo! delivering the newsletter directly to their BULK folder.
Is there anything I can do in order to prevent Yahoo! Mail from doing this, or at least inform them about this problem?

Just remind your recipients to add the newsletter email address to their address book and they should receive their newsletter in their regular email.

On a subscriber-by-subscriber basis, they can click “not spam” whenever the message shows up in their Bulk or Spam folder.
For a system-wide change, Yahoo! has a help page with lots of good info (and a contact form):
