How do you organise your email inbox?

1. How organised are you? How often do you delete emails?
2. What emails do you keep? What do you delete? Do you keep sent email, and if yes, what do you keep?
3. After an email clean-up, approximately how many emails (in total) are usually left in your inbox?
4. How do you file or organise certain emails (e.g. friends and family, work-related, subscriptions/newsletters)?
5. If you get emails from friends and family, how many emails do you decide to keep from each person?
6. Any (additional) email organisation tips?

1. I am pretty organized. Every week I go through emails.
2. I keep emails from things I signed up for, and from other stuff like that. I don’t keep sent emails unless it is concerning something that I know I will need later.
3. I keep most of my emails, because I also keep emails from friends.
4. I have about 10 files in my email account, including: Work, School, Myspace, Friend A, Friend B, etc.
5. If I have a folder for a certain friend, I keep the emails from that person. If I don’t have a folder for something, and it is relatively important, than I put it in my “Other” folder.
6. It is a good idea to keep most emails, you never know when you will need them.
