In addition to having an opt-out link, is it also necessary to put a mailing address of the company on email blasts/newsletters?

I believe that it depends on which country you are mailing from, but to be honest, it’s a good practice thing to do anyway.
If your address is on your website, then it makes sense to have it on other correspondence, including your emailshots.
