Error Advice: reply from target host : 452 Too many recipients?

I send a newsletter email to 400 email recipients, 36 go to yahoo addresses, lately I have been receiving ‘452 Too many recipients’ errors. My guess is Yahoo has targeted this email as spam.
-Where is the limitation, is it too many total recipients on the email or too many yahoo recipients on the email
-How can I fix this without having to send more emails addressed to fewer recipients
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Yahoo is most certainly viewing this as spam. I don’t remember the number of emails you can send but it’s in their instructions someplace. What you can do, is put your recipients into several groups. If you try to send out large number of individual emails, they will certainly stop you, but sending to several groups seems to work.
