Sending email using BCC - problem?

I am trying to send out a mass email to about 100 friends. I have put my email address in the “To” field, and in the BCC field I have put the name of my group which is “newsletter”. There are over 100 email addresses in this “newsletter” group. When I hit the send button I get an error message that says “missing or malformed recipient”. I’m so confused - and I can’t send out this email - please help!

You may want to send your letter out in smaller groups. The group you’re sending to could be too large.

“Missing or malformed recipient” —indicates that one of the addresses is incorrect.
Over 100 ???? —-SK is right—–I don’t believe it will be sent with that many in one email.

Check out a program called PC iMail, which will let you configure a time delay on your message delivery. That way it’ll send say 5 messages every minute (or however many you want), so that you’ll be in compliance with your ISP’s limitations for mass mailings.
PC iMail also sends each message individually to each address, so you can personalize them to include each person’s name and address.
The trial version lets you send up to 50 messages at a time, so if you break your list up into two smaller lists, then you’ll be all set
