Were the newsletters from Ron Paul really written by him?

In case you aren’t familiar with what I’m talking about here’s the link. http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/01/10/paul.newsletters/index.html?eref=rss_topstories
Did he really write these? Do you think he’s telling the truth? Does this change your view about him?

I doubt at this point in time, we can really decide whether or not they are real.
But his explanation doesn’t buy any of my confidence… he seems much too guilty… in the video on CNN he seems so shaken up its not even funny…
Not that his political views make sense anyway.
Nor did his “Blacks are drug abusers, so if i pardon all drug abusers, how can I be ******?” inspire confidence either.

It doesn’t matter whether he wrote them or not, they were published under his name. He can’t pretend he didn’t know what was in the newsletters.
I’m glad to see the newsletters are getting some play in the media. Paul as ‘re-invented’ himself, but the roots he springs from are downright kooky.

No, they are not. No one has ever heard him say anything ****** except for this obviously false letter.
I encourage everyone to watch his response to the letters before making any judgements:

It’s time for him to go. I don’t see too many “Go Ron Paul”s anymore, so I think it has changed some people’s view. Being from Texas myself and knowing where he’s from, this doesn’t surprise me one bit.

I believed he either wrote or approved those newsletters. That was way back before he had the foolish notion that some person would actually vote for him.

Only he knows the truth. I don’t think it makes much difference anyway. The man is not going to be President.

Ya know, it’s funny. I was thinking that this guy was going to explode even bigger and better than Ross Perot and it looks to me like this is the beginning of it. Still, I’m not ready to throw six week old cabbage at him… yet.
