Why am I still getting spam emails?

Each time I log into email account to check for new messages from my friends on facebook or a newsletter from freewebs, there’s a spam email in my inbox. I never open the email at all and mark it as spam, and quite honestly I’m getting what seems like a lot of them. What can I do to put a stop to this? I really don’t want to sign up for a new email account. Are there any other options on how to resolve this spam issue? I’ve used every control possible that I know, or at least I think that I know.

I have over 500 a day, I control it with outlook (Multiple accounts)
