Can an email be taken back?

I received a confirmation email for a celebrity’s newsletter. I saw the email in my inbox but didn’t have time to read at that time. I came back the next day and it was gone. Is that possible? I’m thinking it was taken back because I didn’t answer fast enough.

no, i don’t think it has been taken back. once an e-mail is send , it is send , u cannot take it back. you must have deleted it . check the trash folder in your mail. it must be there.

A Company called Bigstring allows you to recall, destruct, or erase emails before or after they are read. Dont know if they have any affiliation with yahoo tho.
