I need to capture email addresses from my website visitors?

I’ve built my newsletter site on Dreamweaver and would like to request that all of my new visitors submit their email address to view it and/or subscribe to it. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thanks.

You need to use forms and a CGI script to save them.
It’s a bit too complex to teach here. get a good book on HTML.

I found this free PHP script on Jack’s Scripts website. It’s essentially a form processor that you can install onto your webserver that will take information input by your users in a form on your website and send it to you by e-mail.
You can set up your webpage form with name, comments, e-mail address and any other information you’d like to gather from your visitors.
It’s very easy to configure the script to suit your needs, even if you’re not a programmer. The only thing you really need to make sure is that your web host has PHP installed on their servers, but it’s very common and is quite likely in your case.
Unless you like to send visitors away to another website and have them put up with third-party advertising, there’s no better or easier way as far as I can see to process webpage forms on your site.
