CREO list:
The Navy publishes the Career Reenlistment Objectives (CREO) listing twice per year for sailors in the paygrades of E-1 through E-6. While the listing is intended to provide information about retraining possibilities, it also serves as a handy reference for promotion opportunities and for new applicants to determine whether or not the rating of their choice is likely to be available.
The Navy will usually favorably consider retraining requests for sailors serving in a CREO rating “2″ or “3″ who wish to retrain into a CREO rating “1.” (Assuming the sailor is otherwise qualified for the new rating). Those serving in a CREO rating “3″ who wish to retrain into a CREO rating “2″ will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

MEEKEE, I was an MA. I got out last year. I wanted to go back in, but because of a tattoo, I cant. which is chitty because I only have one! So it looks like the army for me. Anyways, back to your question. You know the drill, talk to the recruiter. Dont think because your prior service you can trust a recuiter, so stay on your toes. Just tell them the job you want and they can tell you if its open. You dont even have to go down there, just yellowbook the number, and call. Goodluck with it, I hope you get the rate you want.

Talk to a recruiter and see if you can get onto nko once there you can look at adancement rate by rate not sure if you wanted to know for availability or advancement but if you wanted to know for advancement nko is the place to look
