Gaia Online E-mail Alert Newsletter?

i want to know how to cancel the Gaia Online e-mail thing, i get e mails from them, how do i cancel the alert? can u please explain very clearly of what to do step by step?

ok, so when youre already logged into gaia and all you do this:
1) you move your mouse over the ‘my gaia’ tab and click on ”Account Preferences
2) Then you move your mouse to the cogwheel which says ”account settings” and you CLICK on ”alerts”
3) you uncheck all the checkboxes which say that you’re getting alerted when something specific happens (when you get a friend request or a pm for example)
