Is it possible to open a high interest savings account in Uganda?

I am in US, but will be traveling to Africa some time next year. I was wondering if I can open a saving account with high interest rate. If yes, how high?

The problem is that the account will be in their currency…As with many countries in that area, they have a very high inflation rate, so the high interest savings is of no real value.
