I’m sending an email from my hotmail to my personal maildress. Its not recieving as fast as usual. How come?

Normally when i’m mailing stuff to myself, or when i sign in to a newsletter, i get an immediate welcome or confirmation mail. The last few days its going very slow.
Could it be that the mail goes trough an email checker before i recieve it? I’m doing a lot of study about what could be percieved as “illegal” stuff by my government.

When you email stuff, you’re essentially sending the email into a queue. So if a lot of people have sent emails before you, it’ll take longer.

Most likely it’s just server settings. Hotmail has been quite slow as of late, I think it might be Microsoft updates or increased spam protection.
