Best tool for setting up and maintaining a mailing list?

I would like to find the best tool for setting up, maintaining, and emailing my newsletter subscribers. I am getting too many subscriptions to maintain from my email server.

Any database that you email program can access would be the correct choice.
Look at the ext of the file that stores your names and addresses then Google to find out what program it is.
There are a lot of free choices if you just need storage.
XML and a simple text file could do it. Both are free. MySQL is another free alternative. MS SQL Express is also free.
If you have MS Office then you can use Access or in a worst case Excel.
Some websites are offering free SQL Server space. if your does that would have unlimited storage and again be free.
