What’s a good alternative to sending out newsletters?

Our company sends out monthly newsletters to recipients who donate to our organization. We’ve been doing the mailing of newsletters for almost five years now. We think people may have gotten tired of it so we need a new way (a new medium?) to report news that is cost effective (as well) and transcends digital divide (not all have computers nor have access through internet service).

I was thinking of changing the newsletter’s shape to that of a postcard type. Is this good? Please advice!
