Hi! I am an administrative assistant at a small hospital. My boss has requested that I begin a “company newsletter” that will go out in every employee’s mailbox each month.

My question is: How should I go about starting this? What computer program should I use, what questions should I ask my boss (for instance, would I ask: “What kind of header would you like?”), and should there be anything else I should keep in mind?

All suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Specifically, a newsletter which includes writing and researching. Plus adding hyperlinks, sponsor tiles and 9 individual articles.

Looking to see if my rates are low for the market.

If they believe something defamatory about them was written….did not happen But I am wondering if a court would allow them access to a private communication? Can they get a court order to look at the newsletter?

A company, www.itis.de, wants to this picture that I took (http://www.sxc.hu/photo/997132) for the purposes of the company. Here’s what they wrote:

“We like to ask you if we could use your picture, named “sunflower 1” on http://www.sxc.hu/ for our web site, flyers, CD covers, envelopes as well as CD contents, rollups, newsletter, presentations, online/offline-advertising or similar utilizations for purposes of the company.

If there are some usages that are not agreeable for you please list them down.”

Should I just let them use the picture?

Like if it’s the second year, it started last October, so would it be volume 2 (in it’s second year?) issue 2 (second time this year for newsletter)

I run 3 seperate websites and have up to 6 newsletters a week to dish out. If anyone has any cheap, functional, and robust solutions or ideas. Please let me know.
In response to a comment. I have found iContact and Vertical Response. VR has great reviews, but I want to weight a few more options before committing to another contract.
