i need a email news letter so can send bulk emails

i only have £25 to spend on it

I have looked at a few online entry forms for sweepstakes and most if not all of them have boxes to check to receive email newsletters and/or promotional offers. If I don’t check those boxes am I just wasting my time? i.e., If they picked my entry and the boxes weren’t checked would my entry be tossed and another person’s picked?

Just curious because I really wouldn’t want my mailbox flooded with stuff that I have no use or need for.

where to find some professional customizable html newsletters that works on all email clients.

Part of my job is creating templates and designing formats for business communications. I’ve been helping a colleague in Europe to develop a regional email newsletter that will be sent to several hundred employees. The purpose of the newsletter is to help employees feel more engaged, so it is a mix of articles on business topics (major initiatives, etc.) and personal topics (employee profiles, etc.). Her draft design used about 8 different colors, the layout was random and was very amateurish in appearance. I redesigned it to use just 2 alternating colors and tightened up the format so it looked more polished. She didn’t like it and wanted her rainbow of colors back. Her reasoning was “we don’t want it to look so professional.”

I have a REALLY hard time agreeing with that perspective and told her so, but I also couldn’t really articulate why I felt so strongly about it. What would you do? If you had a coworker or a customer say they didn’t want something to look so “professional”, what would you say to convince them otherwise?

To me, her approach looked sloppy, disorganized and was difficult to read. Other than telling her the blunt truth about the design, how could I have persuaded her to see that a clean, polished design is the better way to go?

Its an online publication for an Endodontic (root canal) office.

im only 14, but i believe im a very good writer, and my friends and family do too. the problem is, i want to become a writer for a part time job around school time. im not very good at staying on a subject, so ive started many books, but ive always stopped at the 6 chapter or so. I want to try writing for a newpaper or magazine or even an online newsletter, but i have no idea of how to start doing this. I have no school paper to start with, and quite frankly, our town is not the best place to start a career in, and our newspaper is quite terrible. So does anyone have any ideas of how i should go about this?
